Education Advisor
Danielle Shulkin is an American educator and international education specialist based in New York City with over ten years of experience in curriculum development, teacher training, and supporting students with diverse learning needs across the United States, West Africa, and Latin America. She holds an M.S.Ed. in Teaching Students with Disabilities from St. John's University and a B.A. in English and Linguistics from the College of William & Mary.
She has spent her career helping students to meet their potential and creating professional development programs for teachers working in diverse and often under-resourced contexts. Her accomplishments include partnering with teachers in an indigenous community in Panama as a Peace Corps Volunteer, consulting for Panama's Ministry of Education on an inclusive English curriculum, working with Teach With Africa to support educators in southern Africa, contributing literacy curriculum to Goalbook — a platform used by over 700 school districts across the United States — and creating and leading a new Learning Support program at an international school in The Gambia.
Danielle is excited to bring her commitment to rigorous, actionable professional development with a whole-child approach to the Mowla community.
